Sleepy Thursday
I can feel it. The curse of Thursday - being tired to the bones. It’s getting to the point where vision starts to blur sometimes. But, if I take a short nap before the market opens - I’m sluggish and can’t react properly. If I don’t take a short nap - I can’t focus well […]
Wednesday trades
I took 3 trades last night. They were in RIMM, TXN and FWLT. This time around they all worked and the net P&L is +6.5R. I’ve also reached a new equity high so hopefully the late April drawdown is over, for now.
April and record keeping
Funny thing. I’ve just received the monthly activity report for 2007 04 from IB and apparently, April wasn’t a losing month after all (but a very small gain). I initially thought I’d wiped out the entire gains for that month. Just goes to show at what state my record keeping is. I could blame lots […]
Flipping Tuesday
Another chop day, market opened down, continued down and then half way through the day started rallying. I had 2 shorts - DJO and CUTR and a decent profit at some stage (albeit only in $, not Rs) but ended the day with -0.4R on lowered stops.
Monday trades
Kind of an annoying day. I was up nicely but didn’t take any profits off the table and ended up giving it all back. AA was stopped out in a weird spike and AL ground down to a reduced risk stop. End result is -0.75R.

Thursday trades
It was another up day, albeit more choppy on the way there. I traded ANDW, SYMC, SMDI and PRU. The end P&L is +3R. Sounds alright, but actually I screwed up the PRU trade and ended up chasing it and lowering the quantity. Whenever I get a short nap in before the market opens I […]
