Interesting statistic on the iPhone. If it was available in Asia I’d have a really, really hard time resisting buying it.
Mac Rumors: Apple’s iPhone Outsells All Other Smartphones in July
Apple’s iPhone outsold all smartphones in the United States in July. This represents its first full month of sales and accounted for 1.8% of all U.S. mobile handsets. The two models of the iPhone on the market sold more than Research in Motion’s Blackberry series, the entire Palm portfolio and any individual smartphone model from Motorola, Nokia or Samsung.
There’s an Apple announcement / product launch on Wednesday, will be interesting to see what they release. Rumored to be updated versions of the iPod. My current 80Gb iPod is doing just fine though so it’s tough to justify replacing it. Particularly as my commute has shortened from 30min train ride to 3 seconds opening my bedroom door and stepping into the living room :-)

3 seconds from bedroom to work place, that’s so cool! :) I am taking 30 mins Tram ride everyday to Melbourne CBD…duh…

Actually 30min is not too bad. That’s what I had here and I live right next door to the MRT and worked in the CBD.
