After a couple of days of good movers the market looks choppy to me based on the stocks I’m watching.

My Resources

looks like we both missed TEK. I got suckered into shorting AMED. The rest is choppy POS. As soon as I wrote POS Amed started moving. I better shut up now. regards.
Yeah, TEK never hit my scanner because of the low volume in the first half hour. I was watching AMED like a hawk for the first 45 minutes but I don’t normally enter on the 2nd bar and then on the 3rd it run away..
My damage today comes from CBST and SNDA.
[…] Right, lousy P&L of -2R on: SNDA and CBST. None of the typical setups I’ve been watching today like AMED which Frank mentioned, or CVC, PFE, SNY etc. worked. Not much more to say, I’ll take my loss and move on, continue to work on refining and improving and try to show up again tomorrow :) […]
My scanner was showing only 4 candidates until I compensated for the “holiday” season and dropped my volume threshold. That is the reason why I was able to trade TEK. It was the only decent “dummy” trade out there I saw.
Cool, I probably should have done the same. I had quite a few showing up on my scanners so I didn’t get feel that I should tweak the volume requirements. This time last year I avoided the whole 2-3 weeks around the new year.
