Digital camera

I’m in the market for a new digital camera. My old one is just too bulky and slow. So after I thought I’ve narrowed it down a bit I’m now back to searching. Must haves:

Preferrably also something that looks cool ;-) and is fast. My default choice for digital cameras is the Canon SD / IXUS but I’m kind of looking for something more interesting as I find the Canon boring in design and features. The other ones I was looking at are Ricoh Caplio R6, Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50 and for a short while looked at Leica D-Lux 3 and Kodak V-705. But I’m not overly excited about the image quality of most of them and the price of the Leica. It’s a pity that Nikon doesn’t have a wide angle compact digicam.
