Free wireless internet in Singapore

I’ve mentioned this before. I think it’s really cool. Also cool is that Singapore is the only place I know where large government projects finish ahead of schedule rather than get delayed.

The free wireless broadband internet service will be available at public areas islandwide in Singapore from Dec. 1, a month ahead of schedule.

    that’s a great deal for everyone…hopefully, this will catch on here in the u.s…i think seattle and philly have it, but i am not sure

    I wonder how they address security. It’s basically an open network.

    Now Singapore becomes a good place for young IT students to learn hacking. Some cyber crime here and there ;p

    I am not comfortable with the security as well, at least for now.
