Remember when Google started operating Gmail? It had 1Gb space which was revolutionary in the market and everyone went woah.. This increased space has also led to changing of people’s habits with regards to email, and particularily web-based email. Before Gmail I would never have thought of seeing a message such as this:
Since June 2004, when I first signed up with Gmail, I’ve accumulated 9027 emails. It sounds like a lot but that’s only about 12 emails a day. I’m sure there are many people out there who do much more than this. And to think that until 1 week ago, my hotmail had a mailbox size of 2Mb. Needless to say, I never use my hotmail, or MSN for that matter, for anything at all. If only I thought about this when Google had its IPO ;-)
