HAR Halted

Well that’s a first for me. I’m short HAR and all of a sudden NYSE decides to halt it.

Harman International Ind. Inc. (NYSE: HAR)

In view of the unusual market activity in Harman International Ind. Inc. stock, the Exchange has contacted the company and requested that the company issue a public statement indicating whether there are any corporate developments which may explain the unusual activity. The company stated that its policy is not to comment on unusual market activity or rumors.

Policy not to comment?? This isn’t a tabloid asking for juicy gossip, it’s the exchange their stock is listed on. Crazy stuff.

I’ve already covered the bulk of the position before the halt as the stock started to retrace, so I’ve got just a tiny position left in there. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Thanks. Except that I was robbed, I canceled my MOC but it was still executed. Which left a couple of bucks out of my pocket. And to top it I was also on a tiny R today expecting more internet problems.
