Hellboy, 1 and 2

Watched Hellboy over the weekend, both of them. Was surprisingly fun to watch. Ron Perlman is quite good and of course John Hurt. Luke Goss as Prine Nuada was also very impressive. I like that kind of elf character (even though he was evil in this movie). The German accent and behaviour they gave the new agent Johann Krauss was hilarious and was just as one would expect from a Brit doing German accent and mannerism. His last words to his supervisor: “You can kiss my ectoplasmic tuches” (= ass in German and Yiddish) cracked me up.
I think the weakest of the bunch was Selma Blair as agent Liz. All in all an entertaining movie with a variety of accents and wisecracks worthy of a lazy Sunday afternoon.
