   Hi Eyal!
   I’m a new day trader from israel.
   my broker is IB (like yours), and i also use QT as my charting software. he problem is that i use IB backfill with QT, and it simply does not work most of the time, or it is very very small (1 min or more for intraday chart). how do you solve this problem> do you use IQFeed ? is it good ? do you only execute through IB ?

   Hi Ziv, the answer to all your questions is: yes. I don’t like backfilling from IB, it’s slower. Yes, I use IQFeed and it’s working fine. And yes, I only execute through IB.

   Thanks for the info. one last thing,
   what package do you use in IQFeed? how much do you pay per month? What package do i need if i only want it to draw US stocks (NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ) realtime chatrs in QT?

   Ziv - you can sign up here: http://www.iqfeed.net/quotetracker/

   You can specify which exchanges you need during the sign-up process.

   You can also approach the customer service online, they’ve been quite helpful. I spoke to Dave Fross who set me up with a free trial on a couple of services.
