The link above points to a forum post in TheMarker Cafe forum which was deleted by TheMarker. In that post people complained that Meir Barak allegedly cheated them. People who took tradenet course ended up not learning useful trading tools and losing their money on a consistent basis. This seems to be the feedback I hear from many people who took that course, some completely wiping out their account.

The students complained and asked to see where the course “experts” were buying and selling so that they could learn from them. However tradenet refused to show this information and deleted the chat from their records. Each one can make his or her own conclusions based on this information.

An updated post is available here.

Let me share a little anecdote: A couple of years ago (four actually) I went to Meir Barak’s “introductory lecture.”
In that lecture someone asked him why he was willing to share his knowledge and spend so much of his time teaching others instead of trading himself. Instead of giving the “I can’t just sit in front of the computer monitor all day long, it gets on you after a while, I need the human touch” routine, Meir replied, with a (perhaps uncharacteristic) candor, “because I make a lot more money giving these courses then I could ever hope to make trading the stock market myself.”
You gotta give it to him – but then again, he was less experienced back then…

Jeff - yes, he has done very well financially, but thinking about how he’s done it reminds me of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons.
