I’m back to the trading screen today. I’m a bit cautious as December is typically weak and slow for me. I was ready to trade if a good opportunity presented itself but there was nothing interesting on the long side which is what I was looking at. Tomorrow will probably be more of the same as everyone will be waiting for the Fed announcement. Maybe Wednesday will be more interesting.
My longer term portfolio is doing not badly though, I had a few orders trigger while I was on vacation. I was a bit concerned about leaving those orders in and going away but I double checked them before leaving, shut down the computer and then came back to triple-check them on the morning of my flight just to make sure. IB did well, no surprises there.
