Monday trades and a bad dream come true

What a day. It started off with a nightmarish fat fingers error that put me at -2.5R loss to start the day off with. I realized a few seconds after I entered the ELN position that something in the P&L movement wasn’t quite right and a second later my eyes were open as wide as they can, my mouth saying words I can’t put to the pixels and my brain and fingers scrambling to get the hell out of that. A few minutes later the position would have been a large sum in the green but the risk was way too big. It is not uncommon for positions to move swiftly against me, especially early in the morning and take me out within the minute I got in and with nasty slippage. A 1R slippage + 1R loss at 10 times the size would have been -20R loss, massive shock to the system. No thanks. I’d take my 2.5R loss any day and just move on. Anyways, later on I re-entered ELN and traded VCLK, AT and AMZN. AMZN was the main “save the day’s P&L trade” and I finished Monday actually in the green at +3.8R. The fact that the market was trending nicely up may have had something to do with that ;-)
