There will be no trading today. Nothing to do with yesterday. Well almost nothing, I’m simply dead tired from not having enough sleep and my brain is running on fumes, skittish and missing beats every now and then. I’d rather take a day off and get some proper rest. I’ll be back tomorrow, but before I leave here’s something I’ll be mulling (or snoring) over.
On those occasions when you are playing so well that you feel this could be your best score ever … until you start to protect the score instead of playing each shot as well as you can. Then the fear of missing putts takes over, and as you try harder to get rid of the fears the mistakes magnify and those negative emotions get stronger.
