QCharts messed up data

Babak has brought to my attention a weird data discrepancy between QCharts and other data sources. Looking at KWK on Dec 5th the first 15min candle is not the same as the first 15min candle in RealTick or Prophet.net. The pre-market shows similar prints to the open and close of the Prophet and RealTick data but it still looks messed up. This obviously makes one wonder how many times does this occur and wether any of the other data we’re looking at is accurate or not! I intend to send an email to QCharts about this. It would be good if others QChart users do the same. I’m not very hopeful on the outcome of an email to QCharts who have typically chose to ignore my previous emails so those of you in the States can probably help by also following up with a phone call to their tech support.

Arbitrage!
The CyberTrader chart is different from what I see on BigCharts. CT has an UP bar starting at 42.55, closing at 43.04 with a high of 43.55. Bigcharts has a down bar.
Its a NYSE stock. I know CT has problems displaying NYSE stocks where the first trade does not occur within the first five minutes. CT takes the last trade from the prior period (ie. prior close) as its open in that case, but this is different.
Mmm.
Thanks for the comments. Could be a NYSE related issue.. will see whether there’s any reponse from QC.
