RFMD, RMBS

The seesaw continues today with two unsuccessful shorts: RFMD, stopped out for -1.1R (slippage) and RMBS which didn’t really go anywhere and closed at -0.2R so total is -1.3R for the day.

Trading and thinking about moving can be….difficult.
Yes, and you can add a full-time job on top of that. The only non-mandatory component in this mix is trading, but that’s the one I enjoy the most and have the most interest in (read: maybe addicted to..) hence the decision to continue trading during this period. Also the downside of stopping to trade for a prolonged period of time outweigh IMHO the downside of subpar performance. I also look at it as one more way to improve my trading, if I can continue to trade and do reasonably well under these conditions then in the future it’ll make things easier. We have a saying in the Israeli military which we were indoctrinated on: tough in training, easy in battle.

I was also short RFMD, but did not lose money. I got out when the overall market started to move up. Good luck in Asia!
