A new cool tool for traders is in the making these days: Stocktickr. In a similar way to delicious and links this site allows you to store stock tickers with tags and keep track of your trading and investment ideas and even performance. The really interesting thing is the social part of stocktickr in that you can also see what others have been adding to their portfolio or are watching and what type of tags they’ve used for that stock. For example if you’re interested in a stock like AAPL you might find it useful to see how other traders that you know have added it to their portfolio - long or short? There are also additional tools in the pro version which lets you track advanced concepts like expectancy and keep a detailed log of your trades. The site is now in working beta so if you’re interested in checking it out sign up to be notified when more users are added and invites handed out. There’s also a blog I’ll be watching for new announcements.
