Swimming against the current

Nothing much interesting today. I had some major internet connectivity issues, blinder than a sonar-less bat. I think morse code would have worked faster. Anyway I took 2 trades, both on the short side as early morning it all looked pretty bearish. And then the buying kicked in. CAM didn’t work out right after entry and ARAY took forever to move. I ended up with a bit of lunch money but not much more. At least January is now officially over, it’ll be good to put it behind me. The current market volatility profile isn’t very conducive to my trading style so I’ll be putting some more work into futures. It’s almost impossible to watch both at real-time so I’ll need to think of how I’m going to approach this.

Yeah, almost fell asleep watching my ARAY trade going nowhere. Finally got out for some lunch money, just before it started a slow move down to the OR :-)

It was tough on the shorts, everything was getting bought up. We’re lucky we managed to squeeze a bit of profit out of it instead of a loss.
