Tiredness

Last week or two have been totally exhausting. Mentally and physically. Apparently it was the coldest June of the past 32 years. For someone who lives in the northern part of North America or Europe single digit celsius doesn’t sound overlly cold (say around 40F). But in NZ 95% of houses aren’t heated. Add to that the gusting wind coming from Antartica and funnelled through Wellington you get a pretty grim weather. There was also a flu virus going around the office which knocked me out for a couple of days. In addition my dog run away and was impounded by the city council resulting in a trip out to get him and 150 bucks fine. So yeah it’s been really “interesting” here. I’m struggling through to do all the stuff I need to do for work, trading, relocation, selling my car and other possesions like mountain bike etc. One of the signs of tiredness was apparent today when I went over last night’s trade candidates, charts and and all that and all of a sudden I felt like I’ve been staring at my QCharts screen and those charts for half my life. It’s been less than that of course but that’s the kind of mental tiredness I’m facing. I can’t wait to get back into some sort of routine, alas, that’s unlikely for quite some time into the future as my journey has merely begun.

Hang in there man. Take a minute to pet the dog, maybe play some ball with him and remember it’ll all work out.
Thanks Talbot.
Found it interesting that you’re experiencing “global cooling” down there. I guess I’ll do my part today and spray some flourocarbons to try and help you guys out. :)
