Trades for today

Rushing a couple of things so this will be short. The top candidate for me today was BCRX which closed at just under +3R. I also took a short in AMAT which resulted in -0.7R. This was basically a forced trade as it didn’t fit in totally with my trading plan but I wanted to have a short in the market and the choice was either this or AMD (which looking at now shows a similar result as that of AMAT). So end result is +2R or so. Nothing great but still a positive day.

Hi there Trader Eyal. I tried many ways to say this without coming across as a prick, but couldn’t :-) Anyway, what was that about?!

haha.. go ahead and say it, I obviously need to be reminded again, and again :)

I devised a mental scoring for evaluating trade candidates so out of about 6 rules or so if 2 or more aren’t met then I shouldn’t take the trade. This was another one of those ‘anyways’ trades. I’ll post something about the ‘anyways’ “system” I’m now using over the weekend.

Things that look clear as NZ air after-hours are often murky as HK air in the first hour or so of the trading day. As a city guy, waking up at same time as your dad in order to show up for the game doesn’t contribute to clarity ;-)
