Trades today

Took a few trades today again and most of them didn’t go anywhere, maybe a slow Friday? The trades were all on the long side: PKTR, PLAY, FCFS and BEBE. Only BEBE really contributed to a final P&L of lunch money.

This is the second time this week that I get stung by a Cramer mention. The other one was REDF. I don’t read or hear him so I only learn of this in retrospect, I just see a stock moving fast and I jump on board. In this case FCFS also didn’t fit my plan so a really dumb trade.

This week was a good week.. for my broker, while I just get gained more screen time and a few coffees and muffins. This is in an overall bullish week so something seems wrong. So more homework for me.

    LOL If I’m in a newsworthy stock, I always try to get out before 3:30 when cramer comes on. You never know what he’s going to do to you!

    BEBE also made me some money today! Almost all my trades were on the short side today. Even though all the indices were up, seemed like most stocks that caught my eye were going due south!

    For Newsworthy stocks I usually close at the end if it doesn’t stop out before that, the problem here is that a Cramer mention isn’t quite as newsworthy ;)
