Update

I have resigned from my job here in NZ and will be making my way back to Asia in about a month or so. It’s not been an easy deicision since I liked working here but on the non-work side of things I definitely prefer Asia to NZ. The coming weeks will be plenty stressful, busy, exciting, worrying, expensive, sad, happy and everything else that comes with relocating to another country. Even after going through this 5 times it’s never easy.

Other random bits: The French beat Spain, bugger. France did play better but I was supporting Spain. France is up against Brazil next which will make it tough to choose sides. I’m not a big fan of Brazil. Hopefully England would go through to the Semi’s.

Trading: MRVL was a nice short today for 2.8R. My P&L for June is still kind of flat due to market conditions earlier this month and also being away for 1+ week and doing other stuff. I try to keep tabs of what’s happening and do a few trades here and there so that I don’t get rusty. But that’s the main aim rather than full on maximizing the P&L.

    Any parts of Asia in particular you prefer to NZ? Well, despite the stress and expense, it sounds like you’ll be happier once you’re through it. Lots of don’t make those kinds of choices, and get stuck wherever they happen to land.

    MRVL was my main trade today, as well! Though sadly I didn’t catch as much of the move as I would have liked.

    Hey Richard, Asia - most parts of it ;-) but particularily Singapore, Hong Kong, China. In this order. I sure hope I will be, as usual things are a bit more complicated but I won’t get into the nitty gritty details yet..
