It’s been a while since I wrote anything here. August has come and gone and was quite busy both in terms of trading and personal side of things. Trading is still hard going and I’m finding the environment tricky. I need to put some extra effort into it to catch up and get back on track. With several important milestones behind me I should be able to focus on it better.
What else is going on - I just completed 1 year since I left my old job and Singapore. It’s been an extremely interesting and eventful year. At times it’s been easy and fun and at others it’s been tough and challenging. I think I’m still adjusting in a way.
Finally, on a personal note, an announcement is due. I’ll be tying the knot end of this year, so more change and excitement is coming my way :-)

Congratulations!
Thanks!
Mazal tov Eyal!
Toda :-)
Congratulations man!
Thanks Gav :-)
Great! Congratulations and Mazal Tov. Wishing the best to both of you.
frank
Are you planning on sending invites or should I guess where I should be in Bangkok for this auspicious event?
Thanks Frank.
And Thanks Eshin.. yeah I’m planning on setting up an invite on Facebook, NOT.. ;-) Don’t worry, I won’t let you guys roam the streets of Bangkok shouting my name.
I’ll just ask for directions to the cave.
Congrats!
Thanks John
Mazal Tov ben adam!! I’m happy for you:)
Is she thai?
Thanks Tomer. Yes she is.
Ah nice, I’ve been with a Thai woman when I was in Thailand, and then went to China, so after I came back to Thailand for my flight back to Israel, I was still in touch with the Thai woman by emails, so she met me in the airport, I think it’s very noble of her, she knew there are no many chances I’ll see her afterwards, but she still came for me all the way to bangkok.
I’m glad you’ve found your wife in Thailand, and wish you a happy marriage, I bet I’ll come visit you one day, I’m planning on a “around the world trip” few years from now, and if you’ll still be in the blogosphere I’ll be happy to visit you if you’d wish.
Tomer.
Nice story.. maybe you should have stayed here :-)
Thanks for the wishes. Will be happy to meet up when you drop by on your travels.
Mazel tov and best wishes
Thanks Mike!
Still waiting for those invitations…
Anyway, me and the missus are booked for the weekend of your wedding. Now, to sort out hotels…
Great. Let me know if you need any advice on hotels.
Invitations will be delayed due to the problem we had with the previous event place. If you really must have an invite I can print one especially for you showing the canceled event location. And another one when we finalize with the new place. It just means you’ll have two invitation cards, hence two ang baos will be required ;-)
Looking forward to seeing you guys.
ang bao’s your head.
Neither one of you is Chinese.
I think I have a list of stuff to give according to someone’s traditions somewhere.
I have a spare goat for you somewhere.
What would a diaspora Jew like me going to do with a goat exactly? You may need to update your list of what type of stuff Jews who live amongst gentiles traditionally deal with :-)
