Didn’t have time to post this this morning so here it comes late.

MRX, TGT, AEOS, SPLS, CDNS, A, AMAZON, GDT, IMDC, CPST

I started the day with a bearish bias, and a loss :) Got into SPLS after the third bar and then price snapped back fast for 0.75R loss. Not a good way to start the day. It looks like this day may be payback day.

    It’s a good day to back off from trading too much.Self preservation,and capital. I had the same whipsaw action early on,so I’ve backed off.Have to play when the odds are with you.

    Hey Doug, how do u evaluate and determine whether it’s a good day? I had several more positions stopping out today and then I halted trading (just before placing a profitable trade in AMZN lol)

    Hey Eyal, maybe it’s time to finish your PhD in Political sciences instead. It is a trap today. I just visited the daytraders chatroom on Mirc and everybody is trying to get some oxygen…

    I just watch the price action.I’m not saying there aren’t any opportunities out there,it’s just I see a lot of traps as Frank said. :-) I’d rather sit out those type of days and lay it on when the tradings good.It’s also a personal thing,when you see your system not working as much,could be a payback period for the individual,and I tend to lay off on those times. :-)
