WSJ

The Wall Street Journal has finally managed to re-sign me up for the online edition after several marketing campaign attempts. How? By making the price right, it dropped from yearly $79/$99 (depends at what point in time you looked at it) to $59 plus a $20 Amazon gift voucher. So in effect that’s $39 a year or $3.25 a month which is just fine with me. I’m actually more keen on Barron’s but I am already (still?) getting the interesting bits via Maoxian.

Hmmm, thanks for the heads up. I’ll have to ring them up and make them give me a deal like that. I’m still miffed that they changed the terms of my subscription right in the middle of it last year and locked me out of Barron’s (which had been included in the subscription) unless I ponied up more money — and then they raised the WSJ-only price to $99.

Of course, I might have to become a “former” subscriber to make it happen. So be it.
