Someone I know in China just mentioned they might be traveling to Yunnan. It brought back some nice memories. The first of traveling there, it’s a very interesting place with lots of minorities, temples and unique natural parks like the famous Shi Lin. It was also either my first or second trip to china, I can’t remember exactly but it left quite a good impression. The second memory flashback is to the neighbourhood I used to live in in Hong Kong. There was this Yunnan restaurant there which I loved going to, excellent food, spicy and quite unique. Far better than Cantonese food btw. I need to find one here in Singapore.
